How to join the metaverse

Now that you understand what a metaverse is, you’re probably wondering how it can be used. IT giants working in this direction claim that the main features of the metaverse will become widely available in 5-10 years. Nevertheless, we are already living with various aspects of the metaverse: ultra-high-speed broadband, virtual reality headsets and online worlds operating in non-stop mode are already in development, although at the moment they may not be available to everyone.

In order to join an event integrated into the metaverse, you need to access the application, and to use it you need a VR headset and a regular computer or phone. Thanks to VR technologies, the participant gets a more realistic experience: he/she is not tied to the screen, can move freely around the room, gesticulate, and his movements will be transmitted to the metaverse. It is expected that in the near future this effect will increase, and monitoring of the body and face with emotions will appear. Then the avatars will be even more realistic.
